I put this film on the shelf with my favorites. The film is very "actors" - brilliant work of everyone. The main character is delightful - she plays with her voice, facial expressions, gestures, and fingertips: a real artist. A small but memorable role for her dressing roommate. Beautiful shy (rare occasions to use this word) the main character. Maria Aronova's game is luxurious. Fyodor Bondarchuk gave himself a look through a magnifying glass, very conscientiously showing himself in a cameo role; the “assistant” next to him also played well - in the seconds that she was in the frame. Everything squeezed out of a small role in this film Mikhail Efremov, to finish getting used to the image after filming, alas, failing. The discovery for me was Abdulov - before this film his talent was not clear to me.
In my opinion, this is Govorukhin’s best film (not counting “Meeting Places...” – but this is completely different). The only drawback is a vague and memorable ending (probably a script problem).
